SONG SEUNG-HEON


Song Seung-heon, the South Korean actor who starred in the Koreanovela hits like 'East Of Eden' and 'Summer Scent', started his career in 1995 as a model and 1996 in TV dramas.

The 36-year-old actor first appeared in the popular sitcom 'Three Guys and Three girls' in 1996 followed by strings of TV dramas. The success of the TV drama 'Autumn in My Heart' in 2000, put Song as one of the sought after TV leading man. He also starred in the third installment of the "season-themed" TV drama 'Summer Scent' but it was not as successful as 'Autumn in My Heart.'

Song also tried making movies but was receive with mixed reviews and viewers were not the enthusiastic to watch his films.

He then signed up to starred in the drama 'East of Eden' in 2008 and it was well received by the viewers. Song's career really soared up high that makes him one of the busiest Korean actors that never TV assignments piled up. In 2011, he is in the comedy drama 'My Princess' with Kim Tae-hee which was another hit show for Song.


DANIEL PHILLIP HENNEY


Daniel Phillip Henney is a Korean actor that can't speak Korean fluently.

Daniel has an adoptee Korean mother and an American father. While still in college, Daniel modeled for several designers and worked in different countries like France, Italy and Taiwan. He became popular in South Korea when he appeared in the TV commercial of 'Odyssey Sunrise' a cosmetic brand, Olympus and Daewoo.

Daniel's first Koreanovela assignment was in the TV drama 'My Name is Kim Sam Soon' despite knowing a little of the Korean language. Daniel portrayed Agent Zero in the film 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' in 2009.

HAN HYO-JOO


Han Hyo-joo is a South Korean actress, model, studied and major in theater and film, was first discovered in 2003 when she joined a beauty contest.

After her beauty pageant stint, she was discovered and asked if she can try acting on TV and was cast in the sitcom 'Nonstop 5.' She then became one of the busiest television actresses in South Korea.

Her biggest break was taking the lead actress of the series 'Spring Waltz.'

Han also tried acting for the silver screen and her first starring role was in the movie 'Ad-lib Night', an independent film. Han made a number of indie films and one film she starred in 'Ride Away' debuted at the 2008 Jeonju International Film Festival.

Her biggest Koreanovela was 'Brilliant Legacy' with South Korean actor Lee Seung Gi. It was so popular and a hit to the viewers, that it was the most watched Koreanovela in 2009. With the success of her series, Han became a much sought about endorser.

Han won an acting award when he played the character of Choi Suk Bin in yet another Koreanovela hit 'Dong Yi.'

Han's next project is playing a queen in the movia 'I am King of Joseon' with popular actor Lee Byung-Hun that will set to film January, 2012 and will be shown in theaters in July.

SEO DO-YOUNG


Seo Do-young was a model first before becoming a well known South Korean actor.

He already appeared in many runways modeling for Korea's notable designers and several foreign designers like Tommy Hilfiger. During his modeling days, he enrolled in acting classes to pursue one of his ultimate dream of becoming an actor.

The 31-year-old actor took supporting roles and more TV commercials appearance before getting the lead role of the popular Koreanovela 'Spring Waltz.'

PARK SHIN-HYE


Park Shin-Hye was born on February 18, 1990 in Gwangju, South Korea. She is a South Korean actress, singer and model.

Park Shin-Hye became a household name when she played Han Jung-suh in the popular Korean television drama 'Stairway to Heaven' in 2003. After starring in it with Lee Wan, Park became busy with television, movie and recording projects.

She has starred in strings of popular Korean novelas which include 'You're Beautiful' and the new drama favorite in Asia 'Heartstring' opposite Jung Yong Hwa.

JUNG YONG HWA

Jung Yong Hwa, a South Korean actor, singer and songwriter, born on June 22, 1989 in Seoul, is also the leader, lead vocalist of the rock band CN Blue. He also plays the rhythm guitar of the group.

In May of 2010, while still in his band, Jung Yong Hwa was diagnosed with vocal cord nodule and acute laryngitis but said after he was hospitalized, he postponed his surgery and said it will happen in the future but for now, singing is his passion and went on tour with his band.

Jung Yong Hwa's acting career started in 2009 when he landed in the lead role for SBS 'You're Beautiful.' But he sidelined his acting skills to become the lead singer of CN Blue. Two years after, he was chosen to star in MBC youth melodrama series 'Heartstrings' which reunites him with his 'You're Beautiful' co-star Park Shin-hye. 'Heartstrings' became a popular Korean series that after his stint in the said show, Jung Yong Hwa received many offers to do a number of television series but hesitant to do it because he wants to return to his first passion...singing.

LEE MIN HO


Lee Min Ho is a popular South Korean actor best remembered as Gu Jun Pyo, the leader of the group F4 in the popular television series Boys Over Flowers. Lee Min Ho also played leading roles in the comedy drama Personal Taste and the action drama City Hunter.

Born on June 22, 1987 in Dongjak-gu, South Korea, Lee Min Ho's first dream was to become a football player following the steps of his favorite Cristiano Ronaldo. But an injury during his 5th grade ended his dream to be a football player.

Acting became his passion when he entered his high school years, joining school dramas and theater. In his senior year, Min Ho auditioned for small roles in many television series landing a spot and that started his dream to become one of South Korea's leading actors. But an injury in a car accident halted Min Ho's career in 2006. Min Ho was badly injured along with actor and a childhood friend Jung II Woo. Min Ho was sidelined for three years until a breakthrough role cast him as Gu Jun Pyo in the KBA drama comedy series Boys Over Flowers, the Korean adaptation of the Japanese tv drama Hana Yori Dango.

After playing Gu Jun Pyo, Min Ho starred in the popular Korean series City Hunter which earned him a position along with other Korean superstars being noticed abroad. Min Ho has a wide fan based in Asia mostly coming from China.

Lee Min Ho is studying Film and Arts at Konkuk University.

IRIS

Iris is a 2009 Korean telelvision series about two friends from the 707th Special Mission Battalion recruited to the secret South Korean agency called the National Security Service. Take them in a journey to China, Hungry and Japan where their loyalties were tested in and international conspiracy and one has failed.

This is a spin off of another popular Korean series, Athena: Goddess of War.

Iris casts an ensamble of Korean actors and actresses of the new decade. The main stars are: Lee Byung-hun as Kim Hyun Jun and Jung Joon-ho as Jin Sa-woo as the two friends set apart when their loyalties were tested.

It also stars Kim Tae-hee as Choi Seung-hee casts as the woman that caught the attention of the two warring friends.
